On Saturday 10th of March the School of Medicine participated in the University of St Andrews Science Discovery Day 2018 with two science stalls; one on human balance and reaction times and one on human bones and joints.
As part of the award for the Outstanding STEM Technician, Henry Rae recently visited the CERN institute in Switzerland.
On Wednesday 6th of December, Henry Rae, Mike Fearon and Fiona McKissock delivered interactive sessions in the First Chances Foundation event titled “World of Science” at Auchmuty High School Glenrothes.
Henry Rae, recently visited the Young Archaeology Club with two plastic skeletons to help identify the human remains the children had found in the cemetery at Dunfermline Abbey.
On Saturday 28th of October 2017, Dr Ourania Varsou, Dr Filip Zmuda and Mr Henry Rae participated in the Dundee Science Festival 2017 with the ‘Amazing Brains’ event under the theme ‘How Do Our Bodies Work? Find Out!’.

On 14th June Iuliana Kanya, Henry Rae and Frank Sullivan led a Summer School Subject Taster Session for 4th year school pupils on Fife interested in studying medicine in St Andrews.
On Saturday the 13th of May 58 P6 children took part in Space School at the School of Medicine.
As part of the University REACH Programme Henry Rae and Fraser Chisholm delivered the REACH Scotland Medical Masterclass event.
