The St Andrews Centre for Higher Education Research (CHER) aims to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration in higher education research. The Centre brings together staff who believe in conducting evidence-based higher education research strong enough to inform local, national and international policy and practice, and to promote a reflective, analytical view of higher education activities.
Scientists associated with the 32 research groups that are affiliated with the Biomedical Sciences Research Complex perform highly innovative, multi-disciplinary research in 11 broad areas of biomedical research, employing state-of-the-art techniques to address key questions at the leading edge of the biomedical and biological sciences.
