Christine Sekaggya

Dr. Christine Sekaggya-Wiltshire is an internal medicine physician at Mulago National referral hospital and a Senior Research Scientist at Infectious Diseases Institute, Makerere University with interest in clinical trials especially related to the pharmacokinetics of TB drugs, antiretrovirals and non-malignant hematology. She has conducted research related to dosing and drug-drug interactions for TB, antiretrovirals, anticoagulants and treatment response monitoring for TB.  Her other projects are related to increased case detection and linkage to care for patients with TB. She will participate in TB – and non-TB microbiology knowledge exchange and utilization of MBLA for monitoring of TB treatment response within ongoing clinical trials.
