‘Golf for Health’ project featured on BBC’s ‘The One Show’
On 21 April, the Population & Behavioural Health Research Division’s ‘Golf for Health’ EAGLE project was featured on the BBC’s ‘The One Show’. This pioneering social prescribing initiative aims to encourage a more active lifestyle by connecting eligible primary care patients with appropriate golf activities in Fife.
Initial patient reports indicate that participation in the programme has had a positive effect on their physical and mental health.
