Biography

Stuart is an experienced Biomedical Scientist having worked in the NHS for over 15 years in the Medical Microbiology & Infection Control department.

He is currently funded to complete a 5 year HSS training route which will lead to a Consultant Scientist post.

Stuart is fortunate enough to be undertaking, as part of this training, a part-time PhD with the University of St Andrews. His PhD involves the use of the SLIC analyser to reduce reporting times for Antimicrobial susceptibility testing in resistant organisms and fungal isolates.
