Visit from Dr Sekaggya-Wiltshire

The Infection and Global Health Division recently welcome Dr Christine Sekaggya-Wiltshire from the Infectious Diseases Unit, Makarere University, Kampala, Uganda who delivered a talk on ‘A Collaborative Effort to Determine the Safety and Efficacy of High Dose Rifampicin in a Tuberculosis-HIV co-infected population’.

Dr Sekaggya-Wiltshire is a prominent female African clinician scientist, and was recently profiled in The Lancet after winning the Steve Lawn TB-HIV Research Leadership Prize. Whilst in the UK Dr Sekaggya-Wiltshire met with colleagues both in St Andrews and Edinburgh. Dr Sekaggya-Wiltshire is pictured on the right of the image above along with her colleague Dr Olive Mbabazi (centre) and members of the Infection and Global Health Division.
