Innovation and Implemenation Seminar
William J Williams founder of Arclight Instruments and developer of the ultra-low cost solar powered pocket ophthalmoscope for low resource health care settings delivered a seminar on ‘Innovation and Implementation’ to the Global Health MSc students at the School of Medicine. He described the steps in developing his groundbreaking device from an idea through many iterations using 3D printing to a fully certified and patented device ready for the market.
