Surgical Society
Following on from a very successful first semester in which the society has liaised with School of Medicine staff to introduce ultrasound-based workshops into their repertoire, the Surgical Society are putting the finishing touches on their main event of the year, the National Undergraduate Conference. The collaboration between the society and the School has led to the introduction of the role of Surgical Society Mentor which will be fulfilled by Dr Robert Humphreys. The knowledge and expertise of Dr Humphreys greatly contributed to the success of the ultrasound workshop and will help the society grow and develop.
