Centre for Evidence and Values 5 How we are funded

How we are funded

We are very grateful to the Della Fish Foundation, who, in 2025, kindly funded us to begin this programme of work. The Della Fish Foundation was set up in memory of the late Professor Della Fish, a postgraduate medical educator at King’s College London who spent her career arguing that medicine was a moral practice as much as a technical one, and that practitioners should never be detached from the values underpinning their work.  Our aim is to eventually become self sustaining.

We do not accept sponsorship as it is integral to our ethos that we remain independent. However, we welcome and are grateful for non-commercial donations which will enable the Centre to continue longer term, please donate using the button below.

Our in-person non-profit making events are funded by low cost fees. We simply aim to cover the cost of venue hire, guest speaker travel, administration costs, and catering. People who cannot afford this are asked to contact us to discuss options, we are keen to make our events financially accessible to all.

We also have the capacity to accept commissioned, relevant work which falls within our expertise. Please contact us for further details.

The Centre for Evidence and Values in Healthcare is funded by the Della Fish Foundation and aims to become a self-sustaining centre.

Donations are welcomed to support the work of the Centre and can be made here.
