Dr. Christine\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Sekaggya<\/span><\/span>-Wiltshire is an internal medicine physician at\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Mulago<\/span><\/span>\u00a0National referral hospital and a Senior Research Scientist at Infectious Diseases Institute,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Makerere<\/span><\/span>\u00a0University with interest in clinical trials especially related to the pharmacokinetics of TB drugs,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>antiretrovirals<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and non-malignant\u00a0<\/span><\/span>hematology<\/span><\/span>. She has conducted research related to dosing and drug-drug interactions for TB,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>antiretrovirals<\/span><\/span>, anticoagulants and treatment response monitoring for TB. \u202fHer other projects are related to increased case detection and linkage to care for patients with TB. She will participate in TB – and non-TB microbiology knowledge exchange and utilization of MBLA for monitoring of TB treatment response within ongoing clinical trials.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
