Our diverse team with decades of broad multidisciplinary research, policy and practice experience will deliver an innovative research programme to revolutionize unscheduled care in the last year of life’. Expertise in health data science, machine learning, mixed methods and economic research is allied to clinical expertise from emergency medicine, addiction medicine, primary care, clinical palliative care and public health. Grounded in frontline insights from active practitioners, we will answer pressing challenges in unscheduled care in the last year of life.

Meet our Core Team
Our core team is based in St. Andrews and leads the study. The overall study team has 19 members with expertise in health data science, risk modelling, mixed methods research, co-production of services with patients, as well as intervention design and implementation.
We value open communication and productive teamwork. Therefore, we enjoy regular lunches, coffee breaks and the occasional trip together. Most of our work is done in and around St Andrews Medicine Building or in our favourite spots in the home office.
