    • Gordon F. Cheesborough Research Chair at North York General Hospital and director of the University of Toronto’s Practice Based Research Network: UTOPIAN
    • Professor of Primary Care Medicine in the University of St. Andrews in 2017 and is the Director of Research
    • He was a member of the REF (UoA1) Clinical Medicine panel and the MRC Clinical Academic & Career Development panel
    • He is a trustee of the RS MacDonald charitable trust and chairs their research panel.
