To help aid in the School of Medicine\u2019s mission of continuous development for <\/span>staff involved in <\/span>teaching, a<\/span>n Advance HE Fellowship<\/span> workshop <\/span>was<\/span> held on May 4 to help those interested in taking the next step in teaching and applying for a <\/span>Fe<\/span>llowship.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Advanced HE Fellowship program is to recognise those who meet professional standards <\/span>of teaching in Higher Education <\/span>on a regular basis. The program is open to anyone to apply and consists of four Fellowship levels, Associate, Fellowship, Senior and Principal. Recognition at this level is <\/span>for <\/span>individuals who demonstrate a personal and institutional commitment to professionalism in learning and teaching in higher education.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop, <\/span>attended by 12 members of <\/span>staff<\/span>,<\/span> explored<\/span> what<\/span> the<\/span> fellowship is about<\/span>, provide<\/span>d<\/span> support <\/span>to <\/span>individuals who are considering <\/span>submitting an application<\/span> and peer to peer learning for those applying for the same fellowship pathway.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the School of Medicine, this workshop represents the continued support and training available to staff for continuous development and overall commitment to ensuring a high quality of education.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop exists as part of a wide array of training and development programs that are offered by the University.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
