#1b8be0\">Monitoring contractility in cardiac tissue with cellular resolution using biointegrated microlasers<\/span><\/a>\u201d by Marcel Schubert, Lewis Woolfson, Isla R M Barnard, Amy M Dorward, Becky Casement, Andrew Morton, Gavin B Robertson, Paul L Appleton, Gareth B Miles, Carl S Tucker, <u>Samantha J Pitt<\/u> and Malte C Gather is published in <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Nature Photonics<\/span><\/em> (June 15th 2020) and is <a href=\"http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1038\/s41566-020-0631-z\"><span style=\"color: #1b8be0\">available online<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 19.45pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #333333\">Although the research is still in its early days, the present study proves that microlasers can act as versatile contractility sensors that can resolve fast dynamic processes inside individual live cells and whole hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:
