{"id":4060,"date":"2017-09-15T13:39:14","date_gmt":"2017-09-15T12:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/medicine.st-andrews.ac.uk\/?p=4060"},"modified":"2017-09-15T13:39:14","modified_gmt":"2017-09-15T12:39:14","slug":"firbush-scietific-retreat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medicine.st-andrews.ac.uk\/news\/firbush-scietific-retreat\/","title":{"rendered":"Firbush Scietific Retreat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently Angela Martinelli, future PhD student in Paracchini\u2019s research group, had the opportunity to join <em>Firbush Scientific Retreat<\/em> and gave a short presentation about her project.\u00a0 The event, organized every year by the BSRC <em>(https:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/bsrc\/)<\/em>, is an excellent way to speak about science in a relaxed environment, surrounded by the beautiful Scottish landscape.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoining <em>Firbush<\/em> was a fantastic experience, I really enjoyed it\u201d said Angela. \u201cIt was a great occasion to meet people from different research areas, present my work, share lab experiences and hear about career opportunities. <em>Firbush<\/em> outdoor centre <em>(http:\/\/www.ed.ac.uk\/sport-exercise\/outdoor-centre)<\/em>, set on the shore of Loch Tay, is the perfect location to socialize, share knowledge, practice sport activities and have fun!
