Henry Rae has organised a series of Technician Visits to the University of St Andrews.\u00a0 These events are supported by Professor Verity Brown, Vice-Principal, Enterprise and Engagement and are set up and delivered by technicians.\u00a0 Each event has 2 components, firstly a tour and talk about the work the particular technician performs and secondly this part will be used for networking.\u00a0 Each event will last approximately 2 hours. The aim is to improve the knowledge technicians have about other technicians in an effort to improve the way they communicate and assist each other.<\/p>\n
The first event took place in the School of Medicine, with the second having taken place in the School of Physics Mechanical Workshop, Cryogenics and Clean Room.<\/p>\n
