On\u00a02nd October<\/strong>\u00a0she will be hosted by<\/p>\n Prof Koeda at the\u00a0National Centre for Child Health and Development.\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>She will then be in Sapporo discussing a new genetic project with\u00a0Prof Ayumi Seki\u00a0<\/a>and will give a talk at Hokkaido University on the\u00a06th October<\/strong>.\u00a0 This collaboration is supported by a\u00a0Great Britain Sakakawa Foundation<\/a>\u00a0grant.\u00a0 The project will focus on the genetics of handendess and dyslexia in Japanese children incorporating neuroimaging data.<\/p>\n Silvia will then be in Hong Kong hosted by\u00a0Prof. Cammie McBride<\/a>\u00a0and her team from the\u00a07th October<\/strong>.\u00a0 Silvia and Cammie are working on a new project aimed at studying literacy and language development in bilingual (English\/Cantonese) children.\u00a0 This project is supported by the\u00a0Hong Kong Research Council\u00a0and the\u00a0Scottish Funding Council\u00a0<\/a>through a scheme supporting\u00a0Scotland\/Hong Kong partnerships.\u00a0 As part of the visit on the 10th October Silvia will take part to a day of\u00a0public lectures<\/a>.
