On the cover of her exposition she looks up at newton as a conduit for his ideas and Voltaire (her husband) sits and writes as a scribe for her wisdom – fluent in four languages in her teens she knew the risks of child birth and rushed to finish her treatise (dipping her arms in cold water to keep awake) before the birth of her child indeed proved fatal………brilliant but born into male dominated age of science that prevented her doing so much…..and arguably continues….
