Meet the Expert Event
Henry Rae and Sharon Carstairs delivered sessions at Dundee Science Centres Meet the Expert event on Saturday the 11th of February. The audiences were given presentations concerning the digestive system and Henry and Sharon learned all the words that the audience knew which meant saliva, vomit, snot and gas. The re were also interactive activities such as how long your intestines are, a taste and smell test and the Great Poo race (brown porridge was used, not real poo to demonstrate peristalsis). The audience had fun and learned all about their digestive tract.
