IME National Debate finalists
Congratulations to Ellie Anderson, Adam Moulvi & Aidan Witts (all first year) and Daniel Johnstone and Duncan MacLennan (both second year) for representing the medical school at the final of the Institute of Medical Ethics (IME) National Debate competition in March. There were 8 universities from around the UK in the finals. St Andrews won their rounds and got through to the grand final where they were head-to-head with Queen’s University Belfast. They debated the topic of fully informed advanced decisions – in the end Queen’s Belfast won, with St Andrews as runners up.
