CPR training session

Henry Rae along with Gillian Duncan and Kirsty Drummond from Heart Start trained Secondary School teachers from Fife to become CPR instructors.  The training was rigorous but fun to ensure that as new instructors, the teachers could pass on excellent CPR skills to their pupils.  The event took place at Auchmuty High School in Glenrothes and the feedback received was very positive.  A member of the Fire Service shadowed our team to learn how to deliver Heart Start CPR training.

We hope to help raise the poor survival rate of heart attacks we have in the UK to somewhere near the survival rate that most of Europe already has and by educating children we hope to achieve this and one day surpass this goal.
