On Wednesday the 30th of January, ScotGEM Year 1 GCM Panna Muqit, Senior Teaching Technician Henry Rae and ScotGEM medical student Philip McKee delivered CPR and AED training to a Year 3 junior class at St Leonards School as part of their class project on creating safe environments. With CPR training becoming mandatory in schools in England from 2020, being aware that anyone can attempt CPR, regardless of age, and make a real difference to the outcome of someone who requires resuscitation is an important message to spread. Lots of fun, alongside the learning, was had by all involved.
