Breast Cancer Now Supporter Wall Event
Professor Gerry Humphris attended the recent Breast Cancer Now ‘Supporter Wall’ Event at the Scottish Headquarters in Thistle Street, Edinburgh. Pictured with Prof Humphris is the new Scotland Director of Breast Cancer Now. He was invited along with Ms Yuan Yang (research assistant) to meet with supporters of the charity with other researchers from other medical schools in Scotland. The Medical School at University of St Andrews, as part of Prof Humphris’ research, has received funding for a pilot study to examine recurrence fears of patients during the course of radiotherapy examining the interactions between staff and patients during this critical stage of treatment.
