Biotechnology Young Entrepreneurs Scheme
Sharon Carstairs recently took part as member of a team with the University of Sheffield in the Biotechnology Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (Biotechnology YES) within the Food, Nutrition and Wellbeing stream held at Unilever, Colworth, Bedford.
Unfortunately, the team did not win their stream and progress to the final (being held in London in December 2016) however, this experience provided Sharon with valuable experience of learning and understanding the commercialisation of science.
