The Division of Infection and Global Health focuses on clinical and policy influencing research at the local, national, and international levels. Its research is impactful research across several areas that include diagnostics, therapeutics, molecular microbiology, infection biology and health economics. Members of the Division lead several international consortia and have connections with the National Health Service both locally in Fife, across Scotland and throughout the UK, and several government advisory roles.\u00a0 We are committed to\u00a0public and patient involvement<\/a>\u00a0throughout our research and host the Fife Community Advisory Council who help guide our research.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our research requires cross-disciplinary teamwork in many countries with the common aim of improving health care in low resource settings. We consequently have ongoing initiatives nationally and internationally with particularly strong links in East Africa.<\/p>\n
