Clinical Reseach Fellow<\/h3>\n

Josie is the lead researcher of this study. She will be carrying out the interviews with participants, and analysing.<\/p>\n

Josie has worked in the NHS for over 20 years. She qualified as a nurse, before training in postgraduate medicine to be a consultant in Public Health. Josie has worked in the community and hospitals. Her public health roles include providing leadership to the local and national covid-19 response, with her research being the first in the world to demonstrate that the covid-19 vaccines worked. When she isn\u2019t researching, she works as a consultant in public health for NHS Education for Scotland. She also spends time with her family, friends, and enjoys singing!<\/p>\n

Josie is using this study as part fo her PhD, and is supervised by Dr Veronica O\u2019Carroll, who has expertise in Interprofessional Collaboration. She is also supported by two academic GPs, Dr Virginia Hernandez Snatigo, and Prof Frank Sullivan.<\/p>\n
