What is a semi structured interview?
A semi-structured interview is a meeting between two people where the interviewer asks open-ended questions instead of following a formalized list of questions. The interviewer will have different prompts to help guide the conversation. While everyone is asked the same open ended questions, the person giving answers can also share anything they feel is relevant.
Who are you going to interview in the IC 4 Me study?
We are going to interview four different groups of people:
- Health and social care leaders
- Health and social care staff who provide face to face care with people living multiple long term conditions
- People living with multiple long term conditions
- People who are family members or carers of people living with multiple long term conditions
Why are you going to interview them?
We hope to find better answers to our questions by getting many different perspectives.
