The study&#8217;s findings contributed valuable insight into the status of sleep health across the country, while also showcasing the abundance of community support for further government-backed sleep education, research, and policy reform.<\/p>\n<p>These findings therefore fuelled a call for a National Sleep Strategy for Scotland. As Dr. Gale explained, this policy would aim to improve sleep across the country through a multi-pronged approach:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\ud83d\udcda Raising awareness of sleep&#8217;s importance through <strong>sleep education<\/strong> being integrated in school curricula and community settings.<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udc69\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2695\ufe0f Training healthcare and social workers to better <strong>support people with sleep problems\u00a0<\/strong>in practice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\ud83d\udcf1 Tackle wider social contributors to poor sleep<\/strong>, such as screen usage, alcohol, and stress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">To learn more about this unique programme, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/mediacentre\/proginfo\/2025\/46\/trusadh\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lights, Camera, Action!
