Through our ScotGEM partnership with the University of Dundee we are looking to recruit an exceptional individual to join us as ScotGEM – Clinical Interactions Course Coordinator, to develop a new comprehensive course that assimilates all communication, examination and procedural skills along with clinical reasoning as part of the new ScotGEM MB ChB programme.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified generalist clinical or general practitioner, for this exciting part-time post.
The successful candidate will join a growing team working collaboratively across the Universities of Dundee and St Andrews, in partnership with NHS Tayside, Fife, Highland, Dumfries and Galloway and the University of the Highlands and Islands. This will be a key role, spanning all four years of the curriculum and requiring extensive collaborative working with colleagues in multiple partner organisations.
This post will include elements of direct teaching, staff development, quality assurance, assessment and management. The successful applicant will be a generalist (secondary or primary care based) with an ongoing clinical commitment.
