Henry Rae has award Outstanding STEM Technician at the STEM Inspiration awards
On 14th June Iuliana Kanya, Henry Rae and Frank Sullivan led a Summer School Subject Taster Session for 4th year school pupils on Fife interested in studying medicine in St Andrews.
On Saturday the 13th of May 58 P6 children took part in Space School at the School of Medicine.
As part of the University REACH Programme Henry Rae and Fraser Chisholm delivered the REACH Scotland Medical Masterclass event.
Henry Rae recently organised a Science Day at Parkhill Primary School in Leven, with 4 workshops on offer to primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils.
At the recent Science Discovery Day in the School of Physics several members of staff along with Andy Owen and Jean Bain from Heart Start delivered Medical Science sessions to visitors.
Henry Rae and Sharon Carstairs delivered sessions at Dundee Science Centres Meet the Expert event on Saturday the 11th of February.
Henry Rae along with members of the Heart Start team recently delivered a training session to Secondary School teachers in Fife to become CPR instructors.
On Friday 30th September Henry Rae, Mike Fearon and Paul Reynolds joined with researchers at the Byre Theatre from 5pm to 11.30pm and on Saturday 1st October, Rachel Nutt was part of a team at Craigtoun Park as they all delivered interactive science events as part of Explorathon 2016.
Primary and Secondary school teachers in Fife and Tayside recently attended the Showcase Event to learn what support the University can provide local schools.
